Youle ancient tea mountain, the characteristics of Youle ancient tree tea.

Youle Mountain is now named Jinuo Mountain, and has always been listed as the first of the six ancient tea mountains. Youle Mountain is located in Jinuo Township, Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, separated from Yuanjiang (Xiaoheijiang) and Gedeng Tea Mountain, Mangzhi Tea Mountain, Kongming Tea Mountain The mountains face each other. Jinuo Mountain is 75 kilometers long from east to west, 50 kilometers wide from north to south, and 575-1691 meters above sea level. The characteristics of Youle old tree tea: black and bright strands, tighter knot than Yiwu, heavier bitterness than Yiwu, better sweet aftertaste, smoother and thicker soup, with mountain and wild charm.

History

Youle Ancient Tea Mountain has a long history of tea planting, tea making, and tea trading. According to historical records, during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty (1729), Pu’er Prefecture once set up a Youle officer to manage the “six major tea mountains” in Jinuo Mountain, and sent 500 soldiers to garrison it. In the late Qing Dynasty, the area of ancient tea gardens was about 10,000 mu. After several vicissitudes, most of them have been destroyed. More than 70% of the ancient tea gardens are barren. The existing ancient tea gardens in the township are only more than 2,900 mu.
